As much as we'd like to, we cannot hold regular public tours due to
liability and safety concerns. The locomotive is inside a locked
facility on the Union Pacific Railroad, and there are no public roads
or sidewalks available. Surrounding the facility is an active
intermodal yard, and we ask that you do not trespass, and please
respect the railroad's private property. This only reinforces ORHF's
mission, to build a new home for Portland's three steam locomotives,
which would then be open for the public to see. Thank you for being
safe!
We're always working to run an excursion, or make a special appearance,
however that can take up to 2-3 years of planning, as well as obtaining
approvals and insurance. When a public trip is announced, information
will be available on this website. If a trip is sponsored by a group or
company who wishes to keep mum on the schedule, there is no further
information we can provide.

perhaps the long version will help you!

Such instances of photo-theft involved discovering that someone selling
merchandise had glass plates, cups, and misc items with 2
photographs downloaded from this website without the photographer's
permission. Certain websites have also posted photographs without
permission.
