The
babbitt bearing spent the last week at the Brooklyn Roundhouse, getting
a new set of brass and a newly poured babbitt, which they were then
machined down to specs.
Back in Albany on April 14, 2007, the babbitt bearing is reinstalled,
and the #2 driver put back underneath the locomotive. An all-around
successful week!
