The Club Car
Montana By Steam II - Part 1 of 8
October 2004

Back to feature
The first leg of the Montana By Steam II journey was a dead-head move between Portland, OR and Sandpoint, ID with an overnight stay in Pasco, WA. This move consisted of only the locomotive, tender and aux tender, tool, dorm, and lounge cars for the crew. The cars that the passengers will be riding in are staged in Idaho.

We departed from Brooklyn Yard at 7 AM on October 10th, 2004, stopped at Wishram, WA to service the locomotive, and arrived to Pasco, WA just before 5 PM. There, we serviced the locomotive, refilled the tender, and rested for the remainder leg to Sandpoint. On the 11th, we left Pasco at 7 AM, serviced the locomotive in Spokane, and arrived to Sandpoint just after 4 PM.
